I must admit, that what little I know about R.A. Wilson is entirely in relation to his friendship with Philip K. Dick (see the enlightening discussions in the Gospel According to PKD documentary).
With Robert Shea, Wilson wrote 'The Illuminatus Trilogy" , the 'Fear and Loathing' of, I was going to say SF, but no, it's impossible to lable. A true and factual load of hilarious bullshit-wisdom, and a thing of joy forever. I took a while to respond to this because RAW is one of the most important teachers in my chaotic attempt to find out 'What the Fuck is Going On?'.
I just bought the Illuminatus! trilogy as well as the Shrodinger's cat trilogy and a non-fiction book by RAW. Reading Illuminatus at work right now :) At first it's just incomprehensible but then it's just fun.........
