Balance is the core of being. It defines one's location in time and space. Balance in space seems to have more priority over balance in time. Evolution clearly displays the importance of territory. In physics, location (geometry) forms the backbone.
For example, a hurricane takes it's vortex shape when a highly excited unstable locality brakes symmetry by collapsing and channeling energy in one angular direction. This direction is determined by the rotation of the earth. Spontaneous symmetry breaking is the mechanism used to make balance and define locality.
{OuterTouch, Balance, InnerTouch}
Balance uses inner and outer touch as its agents, when it evolves and differenciates more. The outer touch is the known touch. The inner touch happens between the heirs and the liquid in the 3 rings of the dedicated balance tissue in the middle brain. The brain performs the balancing function between these two touches. Brain mediates by correlating the inner to the outer.
Then a similar splitting happens for both touch and inner touch, as the organism gets more complex and finds it's fundamental dual duality shape of the outer look. {Taste, See} and {Smell, Hear} correspondence demonstrates the level of correlation. See and Taste form the inner or local, while Smell and Hear form the outer territory. Dogs use smell and hear as the agents for defining outer territory.
{{Strong, Space, Weak}, {Higgs}, {Gravity, Time, Light}}
The energy expressed by gravity balances that of light. This is known but not yet integrated into physics properly yet. Potential/kinetic duality of energy comes from this. I suspect a similar thing is happening with {Strong, Weak}. {Light, Weak} and {Gravity, Strong} correlate strongly. The 3*2 symmetry of space is closely related to 3/2 symmetry of Strong. Higgs forms the background field which supports everything. Space is inner touch, time is outer touch.
Then each field splits similarly to create their charges.
By balance I meant any balancing process that stabilises conflicting interests in a complex event. It can develop complexity, reach a self sustaining stage and become life. By definition, life is awareness. It seems artificial intelligence is possible. There seems to be an unbroken chain from inanimate to animate. No need for spirits? What would the spirit world say when humans start creating artificial intelligence?
Everything piggy backs on something else. The whole universe sits on the Higgs field. What does Higgs sit on? Is anything we do outside Higgs? Can we get out of this universe? Is it self aware? Maybe we are here to build a mega brain, starting with the internet. Maybe this is how it causally loops back to itself. Mind boggles. Paul Davies is talking about this causal loop in his Goldilocks Enigma. I wasn't impressed when he was awarded by a religious institution. But I like his latest twist.
Higgs is amazing. It is the super turtle but it is out of the way, as if nothing. Everthing in this universe is a pattern in this invisible monster.
so what do we do? nothing matters, everything matters why should anything matter?
deja nu is when the familiar feels unfamiliar the razor edged path to enlightenment is short but dangerous to be neither one thing nor the other neti, neti, neti not this, not this, not this no horse, no wife no moustache without attributes nirguna brahman
is there free will? it seems we do not have free will. after all we did not ask to be here. or at least we dont remember. but no one is forcing us to stay. one could easily top it off and say good bye to the endless chain of mundane days, if they are. most people seem to enjoy life until the bitter end. one can not take the majority seriously though. modern popular culture is mostly crap. a huge mass of mindless pretenders. they will follow the corporate bully until total environmental destruction. bully worship is typical for monkeys. anyways, not many good examples of life out there. it is hard to top it off though isnt it? i heard of japanese group suicide events organised over internet. japanese lead the curly way as usual :-) not that i am. there is free will to kill yourself. no one can stop you. but is it really free will? but there could be other sorts of free will, like deciding to fast for a day or two. monks seem to test their will by retreats. i found that slowing the mental pace is not easy. control of ones own time is the real challenge.
is life worth the effort? i find existence very interesting when i have time to ponder. slumber and ponder is my kind of life. maybe life is all about finding out if it is worth it. but to do that you have to be free. life is not free anymore. we dont get born into a nice cosy village with jungle access. children dont play in the streets. they study to compete for a meaningless life. we have conquered the planet and now destroying it. there is always hope.
I have hope only because I hold the suspicion that humans are not the crown of creation...and everywhere I turn I am being confronted by lessons on the nature of balance....some strange, strange attractors about.
I am now being pursued by synchronistic lessons on the nature of balance...did you know Descartes used to stay in bed until lunchtime? That's when he did his thinking.
The universe can not be totally closed. Godel implies a somehow open universe. Macroscopic time merges to microscopic towards the origins. The beginning is fuzzy. I think micro space-time is complex. In fact any locality of ST is fuzzy in any context, by uncertainty principle. It only makes sense when it is compared to other localities. Mentally the present is also fuzzy. It makes more sense as time goes on and it becomes past. Time is funny. The universe might have made it's past as it went along with the ride of evolution.
Intelligence may have something to do with the creation of the universe. Existence must have been around for yonks. If humans can achieve this much in such a short time, imagine what can happen in the cosmic scale. Assuming humans survive, which they most probably will, there seems to be no limit to science and technology. The most surprising thing about the universe is that it is surprising all the time. Never runs out of tricks the old witch. What would a super advanced civilisation do? Create immortality?
Even if there is no after life, life is good enough for me. Now that I have minimised my life, I enjoy it more. I look after my simple and basic needs like going for a walk when I want to. I am lucky that I have the freedom of doing nothing if I want to. Many people do not even know that the need for freedom. Many people do know but can not achieve. Life is definitely very tempting and confusing. But the road to happiness starts with simplicity and balance. After all, if we can't enjoy the moment, what is the point to anything?
