The Red Pill is a project to catalogue all of those things on the stranger side of reality, from new paradigm science to alternative history and the mysteries of consciousness. This grew out of Wikipedia's tendency to avoid 'fringe' issues. Additionally, this gives community members a place to browse through the collective thoughts and interests of those who like the taste of the proverbial 'red pill'.....
    - link to the Red Pill Wiki...

What article would you like to see on this site (considering the criteria given above)?

I think Wikipedia has a fair degree of 'fringe' already...

On the fringe of Wikipedia cling the dust bunnies of incoherence.

Also, if it's truly "fringe," it probably shouldn't be named after a cliche taken from a popular and successful Hollywood franchise. It needs something more Web 2.0, like spur.io.us, or shovell, or maybe DumpFilter. CryptoColander? LintTrap, maybe?

    No?

    Wikitedious?

Ok, I'm just playing with words. Heck, I say go for it, but I demand that appropriate entries be crossreferenced with an X-Files episode guide, because that show cut corners with the truth. You could even say it skirted the fringe. But don't say that, because i's an awful pun, and I know you can do better.

ha ha... I definitely follow you on that one. That place is swimming in a sea of its own clichés.

Wouldn't it be nice though to hijack the site maybe, or just compose another site on a similar theme. Fringe theory for me is all about the hyperreal, the imagined possibilities rather than, as with the red pill wiki, the widely accepted, unimaginative, delusionary real. It reminds me of Lisa Simpson's reaction to Bart getting his ear pierced:
Lisa: An earring, how rebellious! In a conformist sort of way.
Taking the red pill was just Neo's way of conforming to the script
