Some links to amuse and inform...

Apparently this is Apple's new multi-touch screen technology (very much like that used in the film Minority report).

And this needs no introduction (make sure you have audio for the euphoric voiceover).

Dan, have you heard about this.

    WOAH...

I never knew cups could be so exciting!

Devo 2.0 is a little disappointing though. What other band could be blatently wripped into the 21st commercial century like that?

The Apple stuff looks super interesting too, I'd say way over due too. For too long we've ben fiddling with our mouses and keyboards like they were the only way to get interactive, it's one reason why the Nintendo DS and forthcoming Nintendo Revolution are so exciting to me. New ways to interact means new realities exposing themselves, especially when that interaction begins to surpass our everyday conceptions (i.e. interactivity that does not necessarily mirror the real world).

I linked to this vid in a past forum post, but it's more than relevant here:

    Welcome to Augmented Reality

The possibilities make me wet in anticipation...

Wow- that's pretty amazing, although I expect that just like the Apple one the computer power needed is still quite far away from mass consumption.

Moore's Law suggests that the computer power to do anything is only ever an exponential increase away...
