Merz: An Introduction

I've been rolling this idea around my head for a while now, it's time to connect it with something...Merz is a nonsense word coined by German artist Kurt Schwitters. Mislabeled as part of the Dada movement his addition to abstract art is frequently overlooked and regularly misinterpreted. Merz was an attempt by Schwitters to blend the lines between the arts. By merging painting, collage, sculpture and illustration with non-visual arts such as poetry, music, drama and dance Schwitters' creations became something in and of themselves - new art forms rose from the splintered interweaving juxtaposition of the others and Merz was born. In a sense, Merz is the opposite of Simulacrum...
So what has this got to do with The Huge Entity? Well, recent recognition of this site in the blogsphere has been both rewarding and flattering; its great to finally have an audience. But what is it that binds you to this site? Its individual links, concepts and meanderings implore you:
Break us into tiny bits and remould us! remake us! reconstitute us! and the new will be formed!
Conceptual Merz can transcend art. The creative process, when applied to the experiences we label as 'reality', can bear striking results. Here are a few previous posts where I have tried my own Merz creations:
Any clearer? Concepts to be Merz-ed will be taken from The Huge Entity's Delicious links, I will post the exact three I have chosen in the comments section. Let's experiment!
It's over to you...

Merz seems not to have caught anyone's imagination. How about extending it to any number of links from my delicious pages?
I'd love some creative input on this. I think it would make for good brain sharing sessions...
